Profonanpe, with the support of the Green Climate Fund, is carrying out institutional strengthening activities that include updating and\/or generating management documents to strengthen and facilitate its work as a National Accredited Entity. It is within the framework of these activities that a call was launched to hire a consulting team to develop a due diligence procedure and content of the self-assessment tool for organizations that are working with us or wish to initiate some type of agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this way, the due diligence procedure will allow us to evaluate and analyze the current situation of our strategic allies based on legal, financial, fiscal and environmental guidelines, which will allow us to ensure the quality of the development of our projects, including those financed through the Green Climate Fund. Likewise, through the self-assessment tool, we will help organizations seeking to develop a project or initiative with us to decide at an early stage whether they and their project meet minimum standards and criteria based on the activities and themes prioritized by Profonanpe as a national institution and as an accredited entity before the Green Climate Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To participate in the call for proposals, your team must be passionate about nature and be composed of a lawyer or economist with 10 years of experience in conducting diligence assessments and internal audits, and an engineer or economist with 10 years of experience in project formulation and evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a global fund created to support developing countries\u2019 efforts to respond to the challenges of climate change, in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and\/or adapting to climate change. Through the Readiness Program, Profonanpe has obtained funding to carry out institutional strengthening activities that include updating and\/or generating management documents to strengthen and facilitate its work as a National Accredited Entity before GCF.<\/span><\/p>\n
